DARCIE AND VINCE

Darcie is like a daughter to me, friends and room mates with my own daughter I have known her since she was 10. She went on to be a Floral Designer and Wedding Coordinator and worked for me when I was lucky enough to grab her. Along the way she moved up to Camarillo and met her man! Vince from the minute I met him I knew he was madly and deeply in love with Darcie and her with him. I was so happy for them when they decided to tie the knot! I knew Darcie and would have her own take on how she wanted their Wedding to look and feel. They found the perfect venue at The Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara. A Rooftop Wedding with views of Santa Barbara mixing the Spanish Style of the Hotel with a bit of Industrial with Cinder Block and Cement. Mark created a Picture Frame arch to show off not only the sweeping view but also the beautiful couple.

Dinner was served in a warm and inviting room downstairs and then back to roof to dance the night away, wait till you see the fun thing Darcie had us add to the Frame Arch. Steven Cowell masterfully photographed Darcie and Vince and their Wedding Day. His photography offered the best of the venue and the surrounding neighborhood. You really can’t find a better place to shoot a Wedding than Santa Barbara. Courtney Toney with The Love Riot pulled the day altogether for Darcie and Vince. We loved staying at The Cheshire Cat Inn again and turning their Cottage into a small flower shop for the weekend. What a beautiful and amazing day. So many photos to choose from!

COURTNEY AND AARON

These two were the most fun from our first meeting at The Riviera Mansion in Santa Barbara. We quickly created a beautiful floral design for the Ceremony under the tree and the beautiful Reception inside the Mansion. Then went on to talk about serving shakes and how they wanted to love on their guests and party the night away. Quickly I understood that the flowers mattered to Courtney and the food mattered to Aaron. I knew no matter what fun would be goal of the night.

I fell in love with this venue from the first time I saw it, romantic and from another time. Photographed beautifully by Dustin Miller, he captured all the lovely angles of the venue and the gorgeousness of Courtney and her maids and the all out fun of Aaron. I hope you will enjoy this quick look back at one of my favorite Weddings.
